This is Clearly one of the most collectible, rare pieces that I have had the privilege of owning.
This is a RARE Nichols shell firing Model 95 cap fun rifle manufactured by Nichols Industries, Inc of Jacksonville, Texas.
This cap rifle uses the 3 piece shells that are available on this website.
The clip is present and in excellent condition and holds FIVE of the three piece shells. No bullets included in this sale. The lever cocks the hammer back, ejects the spent shell, pulls another bullet from the clip which loads the toy cap gun for another shot, and holds the hammer until you pull the trigger to fire the cap gun. The red tips will shoot down range when the three piece bullet is loaded with a single round cap. The cap gun front sight, barrel ring, hammer, and firing pin are not original, but all function. The lever has a repair as noted in the photos.
Finish is the gun barrel blued.
