This Minty Unplayed with Stallion 38 Cap Gun measures 4 " Barrel and 9" in length. The finish on this cap gun is excellent. The scroll work on the barrel is clearly an outstanding part and you will see the Stallion 38 imbedded on the cap gun. The loading gate is nice and tight as are the creme colored grips which I believe to be outstanding. If you are the purchaser of this item, you will find yourself the owner of a great part of the Nichols cap gun history.
The cylinder rotates when you pull the trigger and the hammer fires as it is suppose toThe cylinder is very clean . Or you can fan the hammer, and the cylinder rotates correctly. When you pull the hammer back and the loading gate down - you won't find cap residue inside this one. The six two piece bullets are included and have never been cap fired. The original box is in good condition to complete the set.
