The Stallion 22 Cap Gun measures 3 " Barrel and 7 1/2" in length. The finish on this cap gun is excellent. The scroll work on the barrel is clearly an outstanding part and you will see the Stallion 22 imbedded on the frame. The loading gate is nice and tight as are the Ebony colored grips which I believe to be outstanding. If you are the purchaser of this item, you will find yourself the owner of a great part of the Nichols cap gun history.
This model was designed as a double action action only. That means the cylinder rotates when you pull the trigger and the hammer fires.P>The cylinder is very clean. When you pull the hammer back and the loading gate down - you won't find much cap residue inside this one. You will notice a slight crack in the frame in front of the hammer on the left side. This does not affect the operation of the gun. This cap gun uses the two piece bullets and single caps that are available on this website.
