A beautiful addition for any collector is this unique piece of Mattel history. From the Winchester series, this genuine Mattel Winchester Carbine Shootin Shell cap rifle is offered up for auction today. you will fine this one in great condition with no evidence that it has been cap fired. The Brown finish is in great shape. The firing mechanism is in excellent working order. The extra ammo storage cover on the right side of the gun is original and working. The gun has had a minor cosmetic repair as you can see in the photos where the front stock meets the barrel. Looks good and is tight.
This rifle features Lever action with the secret trigger that allows rapid fire while recycling the cocking lever. It has both front and rear sights. This is the Rifle Man's Rifle. It measures 26" long. The rifle can be also be used like the Shootin Shell. Or it works like a cap gun with the one piece bullets and Greenies. Or just roll Greenies or caps.
